Princess Royal Hospital, Maternity Lead Unit
When Catfoss were appointed as principal contractor for the supply of a new 670m² single storey offsite constructed Midwife Led Unit (MLU) at Princess Royal Hospital, Telford they approached N&P to present proposals for the M&E installation in the building.
As Catfoss were committed to delivering the new facility in a short timeframe, they needed an M&E supplier such as N&P that could quickly provide a detailed specification proposal covering the building services items outlined below with transparency on costs and one that could deliver against that proposal on time.
N&P submitted a full proposal for design & installation of services within the modular building and following review by Catfoss were subsequently awarded the contract to supply the following:
- Electrical Distribution and services
- LED Lighting (including bespoke Led Strips with Scene setting to Birthing Suites)
- HVAC Systems including Packaged Air Handling Plant & VRF Air Conditioning
- Automatic Fire & Smoke Dampers
- Plumbing & Heating Services
- Full Trend BMS
- Medical Gas Systems
- Nurse Call & Bedhead Systems
- Fire & Access Control Systems
- Wi-Fi Speakers to Birthing Suites
- Structured Cabling/Data Outlets & Cabinets
