N&P were instructed to design and install a full Mechanical and Electrical package to the latest government guidelines for the new modular school building at St Lukes, Salford.
- Design aspects including the following (Full stage L design, Taken from an existing design completed up to stage C)
- Lighting to CIBSE design and occupancy sensing, dimming of light fittings to window areas to maximise the efficiency of the lighting plan
- Emergency lighting
- Small power and mechanical plant supplies
- Air conditioning and dirty extract systems
- Full L1 fire alarm system with integration with existing building
- Full distribution system including the supply to the building.
- LG3 lighting and occupancy sensing
- Emergency lighting
- Full integration with the existing school with CCTV, Intruder alarm, Access control
- Co2 sensors for use with opening skylights
- Heating to main areas by the use of a
- radiant panels or air conditioning systems
- Full electrical distribution system including the supply to the building
- Full Audio visual installation for teaching interactive whiteboards
- Full ducted extract systems with toilet areas
- Breathing Building system to classrooms and Hall
